Why This Exists

Dissent Human was founded on a simple observation: the systems that run modern life are optimizing humanity out of the equation.

Not through conspiracy or malice, but through incentive structures that treat attention as a resource, people as data points, and every human interaction as an opportunity to extract value. These systems were built to serve people. At some point, that relationship inverted, and most of us were too busy being optimized to notice.

This project exists to notice. To document the specific patterns, name them clearly, and build a record that refuses to let them pass as normal. Because the most dangerous thing about erosion is not the damage itself. It is the speed at which people get used to it.

There is no political agenda here. No corporate funding. No ideology beyond a single principle: that human beings deserve to be treated as human beings, and that any system that consistently fails to do so should be named, documented, and challenged.

Look Closer

The logo is a simple outline of a person. At normal size, it looks clean. Whole. Intact.

Zoom in, and the scratches become visible. They are carved into the surface, like marks on a wall. Deliberate. Present from the start, but invisible unless you look closely enough.

That is the point. From a distance, everything appears functional. People go to work, economies grow, technology advances. The surface looks fine. The damage only becomes visible to those who bother to look, and most systems are designed to make sure you never do.

Common Questions

An independent project with no corporate funding, no political affiliation, and no sponsors. It exists for one reason: to document what is happening to humanity before it becomes permanent.

No. Sign up, raise your voice on existing issues, or submit your own observations. Dissent does not require approval.

Submissions are reviewed before publication. Approved observations become part of the public record and open for others to raise their voice on.

A single click that says: I recognize this pattern too. No comments, no debates. A count of how many people see the same thing.

No. Technology is one of humanity's greatest achievements. The issue is not what we can build. It is what we are willing to do to people in order to monetize what we build.

No. This project has no political alignment. Politics is an industry built on manufactured division. We focus on patterns that affect everyone regardless of where they stand on any political spectrum.

To build a growing, public record of the ways human life is being systematically degraded. Not wars, not elections, not the things that make headlines. The quiet shifts that reshape what it means to be a person, happening too slowly for anyone to object.
